Product Description

Product Description

The King dares his Town's People that if one of them can get to where he is at, at the top of the castle, and do it before the sun goes down, he will give that person his prize-winning dog named Lily. Will someone win the prize dog, Lily? Salvador SeBasco's picture Book says volumes about character development and striving as a talent. ¿The biggest problems in life are solved ¿ONE STEP AT A TIME! Who taught you this lesson when you were a kid? How to not be afraid to take on the first step? To clap, when the impossible was imagined? To imagine the impossible! Now it¿s your turn to take a step! In the interests of parents everywhere, Salvador SeBasco illustrates how simple it is to teach children this valuable lesson.¿ His endearing stories help us to realize that the value of imagination, in everyday life, is understated. His widely appealing books each have a unique design feature; a progressive approach to teaching about positive character traits, with self-help sections for three different age groups. TEACHERS EDITION: Complete with "5 Tips to Teachers," a bonus section in the back of this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Boy the King and the Chihuahua will run away with your heart!, Jan 12 2006

This review is from: The Boy, the King, and the Chihuahua (Paperback)
The story is simple, but so intelligent and engaging. The boy, the King and the Chihuahua is destined for greatness. Just as the boy in the story has overcome a seemingly insurmountable obstacle, so has Salvador SeBasco broken through to bring this book to light - step by step! I don't care if you are 1 or 91, curl up with this book and reconnect with your imagination and your dreams. The illustrations are bright, the story is smart and the message is appropriate for kids of any age.

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone claps for success, especially here!, Dec 26 2005
By J. Nigel Ellis "Possibility for greatness" - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Boy, the King, and the Chihuahua (Paperback)
Once in a while a book comes along that has the ability to inspire children about how to take on a challenge and succeed in the world. Years from now we will see how many kids were influenced by this book aimed at developing their imagination. THE BOY, THE KING AND THE CHIHUAHUA with its bonus pages that include academic worksheets, are an easy-to-hold tool that will help future generations. It uses dynamic illustrations that come to life through cheering participation and simple enough terms for all to understand. With melodically rhythmic undertones as THE BOY, THE KING AND THE CHIHUAHUA is read out aloud, along with a strong message heard loud and clear, this book should join the classics.
