Dragon Dynasty dropped the ball on this release.,

This review is from: The Legend of Fong Sai Yuk (DVD)
Before considering this release, check out the forum here:http://www.dvdmaniacs.net/forums/showthread.php?p=717025 It appears that Dragon Dynasty has used an older Miramax print which is an edited version of the film that is also in poor repair. Apparently there's someone out there who feels cutting the corners is acceptable business where releasing deserving films is concerned. This is exactly the kind of attitude that has severely crippled the North American releases of such classics as Drunken Master II. If DD isn't even willing to dedicate the money to doing this job properly then I can't see why anyone would be willing to pay the same price, if not altogether completely losing their interest.

One of the absolute worst dvd releases i've encountered.,

This movie is awesome. Now that i've gotten that out of the way, the reason for such a low rating (if only there were negative stars) is the ... quality of the DVD release. Dimension Home Video, even after paying the license for this movie, senselessly doesn't include the original soundtracks (cantonnese or mandarin), opting for a POS english dub whose translation sounds more like something from an afternoon cartoon than a very very good movie. Although the video quality is fine, it completely baffles me why they didn't include the original languages. PS. I could swear some scenes are missing from the original version.

As a mama's boy, Jet is always getting himself out of trouble. Not this time. He entered a martials arts contest and ended up with a wife. However, his father's rebel activities disrupt his plans.
