First off, DO NOT BUY THIS!! This book may help you get the masks, but not only are there mistakes in the book (as to where the fairys are) but the directions are confusing. Buy the official guide from Nintendo. Prima's player guide gives confusing directions and is a pain to decipher, I had to collect all the fairys from one of the temples because the book missed the location of one of the fairys. Using the guide to help me complete the water temple was a pain! It gave confusing directions by telling you to go North or South, East or West, and that is very difficult especially when you are located in a temple. I suggest that you buy the Nintendo guide instead of this. Nintendo gives specific directions (such as leave through the red door, etc) and is detailed with accurate maps and such. Don't buy this guide, it doesn't help you very much, and you may as well try to complete the game without the help of this book at all its so confusing and badly written.

Being a Zelda lover, I am always ready to try and tackle all the items that are hidden nicely in the games, but sometimes it's just impossible it seems to find everything without some help or direction. In this latest version of Zelda "Majora's Mask", help is exactly what you'll need. I found the beginning of the game a bit tricky, and there are so many "extras" to find that this guide is a must have. I highly recomend purchasing it, if just for handy reference if nothing more. It tells how to collect all faries, hearts, masks, etc. You don't need all these items to complete the game, but after all, you bought the game, paid good money for it, shouldn't you get all you can out of it? Nintendo is a master game maker, and their strategy guides are an all important tool to own. Enjoy!!

This gudie begins with the game's instructions, then a descriptive and well-written outline is presented. That is the plateau of what could have been a great strategy guide. Then, it just lists a bunch of information, some relating to what you have to do, some not. I do not think that the author wanted to bother organizing any of the information in order. To find out what to do next, you are constantly flipping the pages. I would not recommend this book under any circumstances. I would try the guide by brady games. The reason I did not give this guide a 1-star rating is because its packed full of information. It can be useful if you know what your looking for.

This book is not a must have or anything like that, its just ok. This guide may give you all the secrets, skultilas, heart pieces, masks and dungeon hints but it does not give you this info in order. It just scrambles it all throughout the guide and it is incredably confusing to find what your looking for. The maps are not detailed enough and are not large enough to see the little amount of detail they did put in. For future reference I recomend THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: MAJORA'S MASK THE OFFICIAL PERFECT GUIDE and other PERFECT GUIDES to different 64 games. Hope you decided to go my way but if you didn't at least look and the guide I recomended.

Not much to say. For a role-playing game such as this, you need to experience it firsthand, no amount of typing could help you.
The game is undoubtetly the best RPG for the '64, with the Best Graphics, fun, and all. Its not extremely difficult, so if you miss a certain thing or object, you are not screwed permentently, but it is not an easy breeze. Their will be puzzles that test your mind, startegy, and just game-skills.
The strategy follows the game beautifully, with nice maps, and pics, and a great help. I havn"t had need for it yet, but when i do...I know it will come through for me.

This is a great strategy guide to buy if you are new to the Zelda world, and decided to buy Majora's Mask. That's me. This book is really great!!!! It tells you how to get the Couples Mask, which is the hardest to get, and a whole MESS of other things.
One thing though: don't use it as a walkthrough, because then you just killed the replay value of Majora's Mask a little. I should know: I did use it as a walkthrough.

The Legend of Zelda Majora's mask Prima's official stratagie giude is a great giude for any gamer who is stuck on some thing but doesn't want it to tell him exacly how to do it. It even seels up the last part of the game with the final boss and spider dungens. If you are a gamer who hates to think then you might want a diffrent giude but i doute that because Zelda is thewrong game for some one like that.

This book is very helpful in understanding and playing the game. It shows detailed maps of where to go throughout the land of Termina. It helps find secret Gold Skullatas, and many other secret items throughout the game. The details on how to beat the bosses are very helpful, and are a necessity when trying to beat the game. Overall, this book's only flaw is the lack of detailed places to go to explore.
