Cette lutte entre le bien et le mal est illustrée avec maestria par Peter Jackson, fan du roman de J.R.R. Tolkien depuis toujours. La force des émotions partagées par des personnages attachants, courageux et valeureux, et l'horreur dégagée par les ennemis destructeurs s'allient à des décors et effets spéciaux impressionnants et jamais vus au cinéma. There is nothing to add to all the positive critics you can read below. The movie itself is great, and the extras on the second CDs are a real treat! :)

The only thing bad about all this is how cruelly they taunt us with the extended version to be released in November!

The disc I ordered was severely cracked. The DVD was wrapped in paper, with no padding. I told the seller, they said they would send me another copy. I waited about three weeks, nothing arrived. I emailed the seller, he had forgotten about me. Supposedly he has sent me an extra DVD as compensation. BUT, that was three weeks ago. I ordered this DVD at the beginning of February and I am still waiting for it.

The DVD skipped and froze several times. It was a little frustrating, but we eventually got through the movie.
