Love Boat is a fun series - loved it as a kid, still enjoy watching.

But I can't believe how NO thought or effort was put into the production
of this dvd.

We've been waiting SO long for it to come out, first of all. It finally does, and they only give us HALF a season ( at full season pricing for many shows ).

There is NO bonus material, and worse yet, NO "Play All" option!
As one can tell from the monochrome gray color discs, they put NOTHING into this series.
Very disappointing to say the least - I feel ripped off!

Loved watching the old Love Boat episodes. It doesn't matter to me that there is no play all feature. All it takes is a press of the button on a remote control to start the next episode. Besides that, i enjoy listening to the Love Boat theme song at the beginning of each episode to get the full love boat experience. I thought the quality of the dvd was great and i'm just wanting to know when vol 2 will be out and the next seasons! Any body have any ideas on this?

I think it is wonderful that we can watch a show from my youth that had me dreaming every Saturday night about where we would be sailing to.
I don't agree with one person's comment on only getting 1/2 a season on one set. Remember these are 1 hour equivalent episodes that we are watching. When you purchase other full one hour seasons of other shows it does work out to approx. the same money layout.It's not a rip off.
