My children (4 and 6) love these shows. Both find the shows funny and entertaining. They ask to watch them, and then surprise me with the facts they recall and the connections they make between the show and observations from real life. We've been talking a lot about science recently. My six year old becomes interested in learning more about the topics of episodes, so he's also been reading more nonfiction since we purchased these DVDs.
The only downside of the series is that it is slightly dated, with the episode on computers being the best example of this, and none of the episodes deal with wireless communication.

I've loved The Magic School Bus ever since I was a kid and I'm so glad to have the whole series on DVD. It's great! All 52 episodes are included and they're just as good now as they were when I first watched them. Both the audio and video quality are great.
There are 8 DVDs in this boxset and each DVD has its own slim case that fits into the box for easy organization. This set even comes with a little activity book, which I thought was cool.
The only downside to this set is that the two languages tracks are English and Spanish, where I would have preferred English and French. But that's really not that big a deal overall.
This boxset is definitely worth the money.

Great collection
My kids (and me too) love it. We sometimes watch on episode over and over. I would recommend that to anyone with kids.
