This book entails the basics of eating properly. Really eating properly, not food-guide properly. Take a proper diet, add biblical options such as ancient grains, no pork, essential oils, physical movements, history, research and numerous biblical quotes and you've got The Maker's Diet. I did like the historic agricultural aspects of this book, another educational notch for any back to basics food plan, along with recipes to help implement these new-old ingredients back into your diet. The one ideal that made the most impact on myself was the elimination of pork. This is due to the fact that we attended a blood testing clinic at a health centre where the slide's showed that virtually everyone tested had parasites in their blood. But how, when some have never left the country? The answer was pork, and this book will importantly explain why. Although I don't usually go for any bible-preaching publications, I will read this again, and attempt to add more of these dietary suggestions.
