My local bookstore was selling this title for about $50 with taxes. I decided to jump on amazon and found it for considerably less. Selected super saver shipping option at checkout which brought the grand total to $29 and change. I bought this on Sept 5th and amazon gave me an estimated delivery window of somewhere between the 12th and 17th of September. I had it in my hands 2 days later on the 7th!
As for the book itself, stunning. A great collection of photographs spanning ten years of planning and filming of all three of Nolans Batman movies. Also included are some in depth interviews with the director, writers, costume designers, etc. While I'm sure there are bigger batman fans out there then I, these movies are some of my favorites and I very much enjoy Nolans movie making style.
As I said before, This book will be a great addition to any Batman fan!

We all know Chris Nolan has never been a fan of "DVD Extras" and the ones that have been included on DVD and Bluray have been minimal compared to other major releases. This book fills in the blanks and goes really in depth on the making of the Batman trilogy. The fact the book has direct involvement from Nolan and his entire crew is what makes it truly amazing. Everything you would want to know about the Batman films is in there - script writing, locations, actors, costumes, special effects, stunts etc.. it's all chronicled in the book. There are also some amazing behind the scenes photo's (especially some great ones of the late Heath Ledger) This is Chris Nolan's final love letter to the Batman Films and a must have for any fan of the trilogy!
