This is a brilliant show and season 3 was filled with many great moments. Patrick Jane is a modern day Sherlock Holmes. Pure GENIUS!

For those who enjoy "The Mentalist" this detective DVD is worth buying as
you never know how Patrick Jane will find the guilty person. This is a light
program of detective work keeping you guessing throughout each episode.
There is always a bit of comedy involved. Can't wait for season 4 DVD's to
come out. Of course Red John is always in the picture somehow.

This is a superb series, set in California. The Mentalist, Patrick Jane, assists the C.B.I. solve crimes after the murder of his wife and child by, Red John. The series is well cast and gorgeously filmed. Even better without all those dreadful commercials. A great buy!
