I enjoyed a lot this book. The main character is very interesting because combine a sharp mind and a lot of "regular people everyday issues" as well. I think the main character is still far beyond a "James Bond" (and it is a good thing!), but I think he will evolve in the incoming books but maintaining a credible and human side. The romantic situation was well managed and gives room to continue better in the future, not playing all the cards in this first book.(good thing too!)Overall: Good pace, very human and credible characters, excellent additional surprises at the end and very addictive. Excellent start for this new author.

Very cleverly written . Surprise by the turn of the tale in the middle of the story. Didn't quite connect the why of the (t)reason to the sexual link.It's not because you drink a lot that your brain goes to mush seems to be the author's message.....self defense ??
