Still love it tough...,

I've always liked The mission. Had the previous DVd release and I've decided to upgrade for the blu-ray. Since I have a new Hd TV, I tought that the movie would look lavish, sustained by Morricone's score. This is the first time I was dissapointed. I realised that they've used special effects when they shoot someone... the splashed of blood are drawn. If it was not visible on the previous DVD release, it becaime a bit annoying watching it in HD. They should have done something regarding this. However, I still like that movie but if you want to see how a special effect is made, it's in there!

The Mission is an awesome Academy Award winner - one of the best scores ever featured in a film by Ennio Morricone. The Blu-Ray transfer is great.
