5.0 out of 5 stars Fun and cool organizer, July 10 2004
By
This review is from: The Mother of All Pregnancy Organizers (Spiral-bound)
I had a hard time finding a pregnancy organizer that I wanted to purchase until I stumbled across this one. A lot of other organizers are either ultra-feminine (not my style) or kind of preachy (not my style either), so I was pleasantly surprised to come across this very fun and cool pregnancy organizer. It's terrific. There's tons of room to record anything and everything about my pregnancy, and yet the format isn't so rigid that I have to feel guilty if I don't want to write stuff down every single day. (I don't want to be a slave to my pregnancy organizer.) The organizer is beautifully designed and contrary to what an earlier reviewer said, I haven't had any problem with the pages jamming at all. Maybe her book was defective or something.

4.0 out of 5 stars I actually use this! Handy lists included, too., May 9 2008

This review is from: The Mother of All Pregnancy Organizers (Spiral-bound)
I purchased this organizer after having leafed through a few in bookstores as well as reading reviews on Amazon.ca. The offerings on the market are not impressive.

I actually am using this organizer, so that in itself speaks volumes as I am not a good one to stick to using an organizer!

There are some really handy lists in this organizer, such as in the Resource section there is a list of 'food taboos', 'nutrient cheat sheet', and 'medications guide'. It would have been so very handy to have these lists during my first trimester, I only purchased this at my 20th week. The guide also has a baby stock-up essentials list. This organizer is a good complement with Ann's book "The Mother of All Pregnancy Books" which I also purchased. There are also sections to write in baby names, contacts for birth announcements, baby gift thank-you's, and other stuff that you would expect in an organizer.

The one thing this organizer badly needs is organizer tabs - I made my own using sticky notes. There also are not really any 'nice graphics' as I read in one of the reviews. But overall I am very happy with this purchase as I actually find it very useful.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, July 6 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: The Mother of All Pregnancy Organizers (Spiral-bound)
Let me start by saying I am a big fan of Ann Douglas and really loved her "Mother of All Pregnancy" book, so my expectations were high for this little handy organizer - I was waiting for it to be available! However, it was a real disappointment. A few short checklists, with nothing very surprising included - all the obvious stuff. Way too obvious and cheaply made. The paper is thin and one color only. The pages all stuck together as you flipped through (probably from the hole punching?) I would recommend you buy "Getting Ready for Baby" instead - much, much more useful and enjoyable!
