Product Description

Brendan Fraser and Jet Li star in the action-packed adventure The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor! When a 2,000-year-old curse is broken, a ruthless dragon emperor (Li) comes back to life with a diabolical plan to enslave the world. Mankind’s only hope against him and his legions of undead warriors lies with the courageous O’Connell family, who chase him from the dangerous catacombs of China, to the icy Himalayas and beyond. Featuring intense battle sequences, breathtaking visual effects and extraordinary creatures, it’s a thrilling journey that Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times calls “the best in the series!”

4.0 out of 5 stars :) Pretty good eh? April 6 2012

I loved the movie but I have to admit that its not as good as the first two, probably because the third one had another director. I think that the action and suspense is good but it streches out too long into the movie and gets boring. So I emailed the old director asking him to make another movie in the series and I havent got a response yet, so if you think this movie wasint as good as the first two, then email the old director and give him a suggestion for a new movie at

4.0 out of 5 stars A Fun Ride! Oct 6 2009
Format:DVD
the movie was a blast on the big screen and i've just ordered the trilogy on dvd. of course the first was the best and while i love egyptian history, the third rightfully needed to take place elsewhere. and China was a great choice for this! because unlike what a previous reviewer had stated, China in fact had mummies! not only that, but they had special techniques for mummification that were beyond what were capable of even today! they actually have the best perserved mummy in the world! the flesh still rises back up after being pressed and the limbs still bend!
one has to be at least 13 to post a review here. perhaps one should also have the education of one as well before posting anything that will be read by others!

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing Jan 24 2010
By Sam TOP 1000 REVIEWER
Format:DVD
After watching The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, I thought The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor was going to be amazing, but I was wrong. There was very little action in this movie, a lot of bad jokes (I am not kidding), and the dialogue just felt fake and kind of forced. All I did was stare at the TV screen wondering what I decided to watch. And the ending was obvious.

This time, however, the movie revolves around Alex O'Connell, the son of Richard O'Connell (Brendan Fraser). The movie also tells what Richard and his wife, Evelyn (who is now played by another actress: Maria Bello), were doing since they chose an early retirement.
