Mr. Moon is throwing a Halloween party, and Tristan and his best friend Rosa have been invited. How lame! Tristan thinks. He'd rather be trick-or-treating than hanging out with his teacher!

But Mr. Moon's party is far from lame...because he's got a couple of werewolves on the guest list! Can Tristan escape the party? Or will he find himself trapped by a werewolf in The Nightmare Room?

5.0 out of 5 stars It doesn't have to be scary . . . Jun 17 2003
By J. Tate
Format:Paperback
Well, I've learned from the first time I read an R. L. Stine book that I wouldn't be scared by this "teen-horror" author. But, just because it doesn't scare the heck outta us doesn't mean its not a good book. Even horror-master Dean Koontz will often throw out a book just as scary as Stine's... but anyway.

This book . . . is just about like all of Stine's books... only with a hint of Survivor in it. But its far more than meats the eye. When i first got it i was soo thinking a copy-cat story line going with the Survivor TV Show (and im sure thats where Stine got the idea for this book) but it turns out to have a twist-a-plot that is rather entertaining. I suggest buying this book, but remember, its TO BE CONTINUED, so buy the whole 3some at one time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fear Games April 5 2002
Format:Paperback
Fear Games is a great book! It's about this girl named April Powers who gets an invitation in the mail that says she gets to go to an island where nobody lives. She and 11 other kids will get to compete in games. The kids will split up into teams and the team that wins the most games gets $100,000. When April gets to the island, she finds out she's not supposed to be there but she ends up going. For some reason, weird things start happening and everyone blames April. There are two more books in this trilogy. You'll never want to put this book down!
