HASH(0x9dde1810) out of 5 stars A Must-Have For Any Singer June 20 2009
By Jay Young - Published on Amazon.com
Norman Gimbel is a lyricist, well-known for writing the English lyrics for "The Girl from Ipanema," "I Will Wait For You," and the theme song for the "Wonder Woman" cartoon series. He did write some music too- he helped to write a song included in this anthology "A Man Ain't Supposed to Cry." I ordered this book through the Austin store Alpha Music because I was specifically for that song, and this was the only songbook that had it. I'm glad that I ordered it, because it includes so many nice songs for the medium voice. I would recommend this book for any singer who is looking for some nice pop and jazz songs to sing, particularly if they are baritones or mezzos.
