HASH(0xb6ede870) out of 5 stars Contains most of the Modernists as well June 1 2011
By Brandon K. Rush - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I used this textbook for a graduate-level class on British Modernism. It contains all of the major modernists and many of the minor ones. Auden, Pound, Eliot, Lawrence, and Beckett are all here, some with larger anthologized sections than others (obviously). It also contains the entire text of Heart of Darkness and Beckett's "Endgame" as well. Buy it used to save yourself a lot of money, as the Nortons are incredibly expensive when new.

HASH(0xb6a038d0) out of 5 stars The best anthology money can buy! Nov. 29 2009

The Entire Norton collection is a must-own for anyone, especially though interested in reading the classics. It includes every piece of "important" literature ever written, with very detailed, well-written commentaries and footnotes to help you understand the historical setting of the piece. I bought them for class last year and have never regretted it. I am thinking of getting the American set next.

This Anthology is a classic and has been around for years. It's a great resource for any English Major. I'll probably have to purchase the others in the Norton Series for my other college classes.
