One Of The Best Shows On TV!,

Now I haven't seen the british version, but the US version of The Office is pure gold. I can't believe such a simple concept can be so addictive. Steve Carell is hilarious as Michael, and all the other actors/actresses make the show hilarious as well.The DVD is JUST as amazing. There are tons of deleted scenes,commentaries, 10 webisodes the hilarious Olympic commercials, and Steve Carell interviewing himself to promote his "40 Year Old Virgin" movie. I'm VERY thankful Universal didn't just put the dvd out with the bare minimal features, like most of the TV on dvd's these days. So if you reading this or considering it, it's well worth the money and will crack you up.

This is the Season to Get,

Wow, this show used to have me obsessed, and I recently revisited the early seasons and was reminded of why. The 1st and 2nd seasons were so painfully, perfectly awkward, so full of tension! Michael is still a raw, complete social failure in this season and makes you cringe everytime he's on screen. Dwight's eccentricities are more ramped up than in later seasons, and Jim & Pam still have that sexual tension that made them one of the best on-screen couples in TV (and movie, for that matter) history. Perfect chemistry that had even the hardest of us clinging to the screen like a grandmother to the Y&R. The show's still good but these were the glory days!

There are not a lot of television shows out there these days that are THIS funny. I'm talking laugh-out-loud hilarious! Every character brings an important dimension to the "office" and the "show". I own all the seasons on DVD of this show but I chose to review season 2 because it has one of my favourite moments of the entire series in it. Surprisingly enough it's not even a funny moment. It's during the season finale when Jim finally tells Pam how he feels about her. My heart just about broke. Pam and Jim were meant to be together and we all know that but when Jim tells Pam he loves her and she told him she couldn't be with him and seeing the look on Jim's face with that tear in his eye you just wanted to start sobbing uncontrollably right then and there. Wow. The writers and the actors on this show are superb. Not only does this show make me laugh my head off every time I watch it but it almost made me cry like a baby when Jim professed his love for Pam. What kind of show can do that these days? Not many! Do not hesitate to get all the seasons of The Office on DVD. I promise you, you will not be disappointed!
