Angela Liddon is the writer, photographer, and recipe developer for Oh She Glows, the web's destination for healthy vegan recipes, which receives over six million page views a month. She also has an M.S. in social-personality psychology, and enjoys helping others find happiness and health through a plant-based diet. Angela and her husband, Eric, live in the greater Toronto area with their quirky cat, Sketchie.

I LOVE this cookbook. I am a longtime follower of Angela's blog Oh She Glows, and her recipes and advice on the blog really helped me while I was transitioning into a vegan diet a few years ago.

I have made 5 recipes out of this cook book so far (1 breakfast, 3 entrees, and the cookies!), and they have all been incredible, even pleasing my carnivorous boyfriend! And that he is VERY hard to please, always my toughest critic. Not only that, but the book itself is pure eye-candy. You can tell that Angela put 110% into this book, just by looking at the photographs.

The recipes are easy to follow, and there are many options for substitution. My boyfriend is gluten-sensitive, but many recipes are gluten-free or have a suggestion for different ingredients.

I recommend this book to anyone who wants to live a healthier, more ethical lifestyle, or anyone currently thriving on a vegan diet. I recommend this book to EVERYONE! It seriously needs to be on your counter. It will not disappoint you.

You don't have to be a vegan to love making Angela's recipes, but Oh She Glows might just change the way you go about planning your meals in the future. I've been a fan of Angela and Oh She Glows for a long time, and have made many of the recipes from her blog. Her recipes are wonderful, she uses "real" whole food ingredients that you can find in almost any well stocked grocery store, and they are guaranteed to be delicious. While I'm not vegetarian or vegan, I no longer cook with meat at home and have become much more conscious of making healthier choices. I can't wait to cook my way through the Oh She Glows cookbook!

Oh She Glows provides great vegan food that won't leave meat eaters missing their meat, dairy, or eggs.

What I love about the cookbook is variety: there is generally one recipe for each main ingredient (there isn't 500 buckwheat recipes). Her food is nutritionally well balanced, well spiced, and overall great tasting. I'm not vegan, but I've been reaching for the recipe book constantly. I may inadvertently become vegan because Angela makes it so delicious. I've probably tried 8 recipes from the book since I got it (just over a week). They have all been stellar, which makes me want to try more! Honestly, the best cookbook (vegan or non vegan) I've ever tried.

There are different sections; breakfast, smoothie, sides, entrees, snacks, desserts, which is helpful when meal planning.

Plus, the cookbook is much nicer than I anticipated, EVERY recipes comes with a picture (which I love).

I'm a proud omnivore but love making veggie-heavy meals, often omitting meat just because I feel like it, but it's easy to get into a rut. When I stumbled on the author's blog, her mouthwatering photos and interesting recipes grabbed my attention hard enough that I bought the book.

I especially love that the recipes aren't dependent on meat-alternatives, which as a meat-eater I find pretty horrid; protein comes from whole food sources instead.

Although we are not vegan or even vegetarian, we are looking to make our life a healthier one. We love all of the photos in the book. The instructions are easy. The commentary is cute. We have made 3 recipes so far and all have turned out well - and we are making more today! Our 3 year old has happily participated in eating each dish we make as well (so no making special meals for the child, not that we ever really do). Great cookbook and one we will be sure to use often. And we think it's cool that the author is Canadian (so the ingredients are ones we know we can get).

So far, I love this cookbook. It's exactly how I like to cook--lots of fresh, whole foods, big, bright flavours, healthy and nourishing. It's also full of beautiful pictures and Angela Liddon has an easy conversational style that is enjoyable and accessible. Would definitely recommend it!

I have been waiting for this cookbook for months, and when it finally came, I was not disappointed. Every recipe includes a beautiful photo, and so far, I have thoroughly enjoyed every recipe that I've made.

I like that Angela gives tips for each recipe and options for substitutions. The book is well-organized and even contains a section about important kitchen tools.

Anyone could enjoy these recipes, be it vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, or carnivore (haha). You will not be disappointed!

'Oh She Glows' by Angela Liddon, kept popping in my amazon suggestions feed. I didn't bother with it, I'm not a vegan, and besides, I have a ton of cookbooks. What made me interested was a couple of her recipes on pinterest, which made me decide to check out her book. I bought it, and WOW- I am so glad I did! This is one of my top cookbooks now, and that is saying a lot! I'm still not vegan, but these recipes are freaking amazing! There is a lot of variety here, something for every meal and every lifestyle. Liddon's style of vegan is about taste and awesome flavour, not "healthy tasting" style food- you know what I mean. These recipes are whole food, vegan and yet they taste great! The chickpea salad sandwiches are awesome, as well as the falafel bites, the hummus, all of those smoothies, the chia parfait, the baked oatmeal, I could seriously go on and on! I use this book every month in my menu planning, and the green monsters have become a staple in my breakfasts. Even if you are a meat eater, you will love this book! If you have problems with dairy, look no further- this book has some great substitutes. Liddon takes healthy food and makes it GOOD.
