5.0 out of 5 stars Whatever happened to #6? Dec 14 2005
By James M. Van Cise - Published on Amazon.com
I was reading these as a teenager in the eighties. The run abruptly stopped with a promise at the end of #5: Coming Soon #6 Black Death. I waited for months, then years, then the publisher was unreachable. The Mad Max-like character known as Bonner was gone for good it seemed. Nearly 15 years later, with the powers of Amazon.com and the Internet, I learned that Richard Harding was an alias for a real New York author named Robert Tine. Using the white pages, I happened to call the right number and talk to the man himself. Worried that I was bothering him, I kept it short. He said that the series ended when the publisher went under and that the Outrider would "ride no more". He said that he has copies of the series hidden from his young child.

This series of novels brings the world of a post apocalyptic hero. If you enjoyed the Mad Max movies, you will enjoy this series. It starts with this book.

the book that started it all and made a fun wild ride series in the mid 80's well worth the few bucks to read it.
