5.0 out of 5 stars The Photographer's Dictionary Dec 8 2010

Excellent book.Glad I bought it as my knowledge of camera technical terms is very restricted and now that I am trying to learn how to operate my first digital SLR this book has opened up the pathway to such terms as White Balance, Aperture Priority, Dioptric Compensation....mind bogling stuff for a 'digital' RAW novice. The quality of printing and binding is very good.A robust Dictionary for the novice and professional photographer. What it lacked was an A-Z INDEX.
3.0 out of 5 stars Photo Dictionary Jan 6 2009

A useful resource for basic photographic terminology. Suited to the beginner, it is missing some important terms. For instance, I can find no reference to EXIF. Still, it's a start.
