5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book about Filters, Jun 1 2006

I was looking around for books that could help me with self-teaching photography.

I own many books about photography, concentrating on different subjetc.

I own a couple of books of Lee Frost and I really enjoy them.

I was looking for a good book that did a complete review of the different filters and explained this technology from the start.

This book do this with perfection:

1. Starts with a review of the different filter system. Giving the good and bad, helping you to make the best choice for your camera and your needs.

2. Talks about the major filters, how to use them, giving example of good pictures and giving tips on many aspects.

3. Talks about filters for color photography and also a good section on black and white photography.

4. Talks about mistakes that you could do with filters and how to avoid them

5. Gives a lot of technical charts to help us put everything in good pratice.

This book is a must without any doubt!!

Good luck!
