Product Description

Product Description

This is a practical guide to radio telephony procedure written very much from the pilot's perspective. It will be an invaluable source of study material for student pilots studying for the Flight Radio Telephony Operator Licence Examinations, as well as for qualified pilots wishing to brush up their R/T technique, and those going on to instrument qualifications. The physical and regulatory environment within which R/T occurs is explained, and then each phase of flight is looked at in detail, as are emergency and abnormal procedures. In addition the phraseology and procedures appropriate to instrument operations are also discussed.

About the Author

Christopher Leech gained his Private Pilots Licence in 1988 and has been an instructor on both singles and twins for eleven years. He holds an Airline Transport Pilots Licence and currently flies as a Senior First Officer with British Airways CitiExpress. Resident Bristol.
