I watched this movie in 1972. I only saw it once but remembered it well. Then I found out it was a well known movie in Canada, so
I bought it for my son. It is a'la yellow submarine. I don't think the fable it's telling is that well thought out, but if you watch it once and remember it 41 years later, it has to have some "magic" for children.

This was my first purchase through Amazon and I was more than pleased with the outcome. No glitches at all ... was delivered sooner than estimated. I still have the vinyl recording of The Point but nothing to play it on so I was thrilled to see it available on CD.

Good sound quality. Timeless story with great music. Been humming and quoting it for years. It's nice to finally replace the vinyl and the worn out cassette tape!

Great movie for kids of all ages by Harry Nilsson. Liked it when it first came out in the 70's. Lost my album somehow but am glad to have it back.
