Product Description

About the Author

Although Randi Foxx (Irvington, NY) was born in the United States, she spent many years living in India. When she was eighteen, she traveled to the temples at Khajuraho, where intricate carvings illustrate explicit sexual activity. This trip led to a sexual awakening for Randi. Since then, she has dedicated her life to transforming these sacred sexual depictions into works of human art. Schooled in the ancient tantric text the Kama Sutra, Randi now travels the world, conducting symposiums on sexuality and the human body.

Most of the positions are almost exactly like others... but slightly different.
Waste of money.

HASH(0xa302aa5c) out of 5 stars Decent attempt March 20 2009
By Randy Watson - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This book contains soft-core representations of most of the basic sex positions that most people seem to be aware of. There are a few interesting ideas, but quite a few of the same positions are recycled with the inclusion of various sex toys and emblazoned with another silly name. Be prepared to see the exact same couple on every page.

HASH(0xa302c7a4) out of 5 stars Too Many Slight Variations, Pictures And Related Text Often Not On The Same Page! May 27 2012
By Consumer Advocate - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition
I bought this book among many choices because it had real people demonstrating the sexual positions and that the printed version had 640 pages in color.

After purchasing, I discovered that even slight changes in position were given different names, so meaningful positions are much fewer. In practice, it would be hard to remember these positions when the difference is so little.

If you are buying the Kindle version, be aware that many of the pictures and related texts are NOT on the same page, making learning to try each position much less convenient, as you have to page back and forth to try to understand the text and the picture.

Furthermore, in the last section of the printed book, there are "checklists" of positions - small pictures of 5 X 5 = 25 positions/pictures per page (7 pages total) that can help the reader to quickly choose ones to try. In the Kindle edition, you don't get this 5 X 5 grid, you get one small picture per page, leaving a large area of space. Using this presentation, this checklist is no longer helpful, as you must swipe hundreds of times to go through the choices.

I later bought a Kindle book (The Guide To Sex Positions) that costs less than 1/3 as much, does not have meaningless slight variations in sex positions, and has both picture and text on the same page. The organization is also better, as you can find positions in alphabetical order or by type: 69, Cunnilingus, Fellatio, Butterfly, Cowgirl, Exotic, Face-To-Face, and Rear Entry. The presentation is not done by real humans but is instead computer illustrated. Although the graphics size is also small (to accommodate both picture and text on the same page), it is very understandable.

HASH(0xa302c8e8) out of 5 stars Fun to read together Sept. 2 2011

Many of the positions are slight deviations of each other but it still stimulates the adventerous thought process. It is a fun book to look at with your partner to stimulate arousal. I bought it used so it was worth it.

HASH(0xa302cc18) out of 5 stars Boyfriend Liked it a lot Aug. 7 2012
By Amazonian - Published on Amazon.com

I gave this to my boyfriend for Valentine's Day as a "silly" present. He liked it a lot! It's cool because it has a check-list of the positions it describes so he can check 'em off. There are a lot of repeated positions that are only different by one tiny thing that shouldn't even count as a whole new position and there were a lot of props required that I have trouble believing people have in their house at their disposal for sex, like swings, and very specific styles of chairs, and heights of beds. Overall, he liked it.

HASH(0xa302ca5c) out of 5 stars Wow. Some of the positions would be impossible for the normal person Feb. 12 2014
By MEVirginia - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Kindle Edition Verified Purchase
I like that the positions have pictures in addition to the descriptions. Most position books only have descriptions and it is hard to visualize the final position or even if you want to try it. Some of the positions listed seem forced to increase the number presented. Look at this book with your partner if you want to try something different. Not all will work for every couple, since some require greater than normal flexability.
