2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing! Oct 3 2009
If you are an aspiring archeologist or palentologist, this DVD is for you! If, like me, you just think dinosaurs are cool and are looking for some cool new digital footage, then this DVD is not for you.

I paid $65.00 for this DVD at Wal-Mart. In my opinion it is worth $9.99. I have not yet watched the whole thing because it is so boring and disappointing. While the digital, animated dinosaurs scenes are cool, they are brief and are frequently interrupted by boring and repetitive scientific narration, laboratory analysis and field research footage.

Look for this DVD in your local library or rent it (if possible) before buying it. It will soon end up in my local library (Aylmer, ON) thats for sure!!! It is not worthy of being in my collection.

There is a lot of bang for the buck here.
Very informative and interesting.
The animations are pretty good, it is not Jurassic Park but more than adequate for this series.
I would definitely recommend.

THE ANIMATION WAS POOR COMPARED TO THE BBC DINOSAUR SERIES OR THE PREHISTORIC PARK SERIES. THE NARRATION WAS BORING AND TURNED MY GRANDCHILDREN OFF. WE WATCHED 2 EPISODES AND PUT IT IN THE BOX TO SELL THE NEXT GARAGE SALE.
