5.0 out of 5 stars The Promise of a New Day July 21 2001
By Cherie Marshall-Jones - Published on Amazon.com
All I am wanting to say, is that, this book was given to me by my best friend, my Mum, in January 1998. It is such a God-send. I will treasure it for all my days. It is a shame that it is out of print - it is such a perfect book for daily reflection, that quite often is poignant to the day. It is my favourite, and the leather binding with the bible textured paper is most appropriate. I cannot speak highly enough of this book, its messages move me so deeply, to the point of tears. Those who wrote and illustrated it, are so in touch with the deeper essence of life - God bless their souls. Please, if you can, pass on my heart-felt gratitude. Now that I have discovered the other books they have written, I shall be checking them out. May God truly bless you and shower you all with such profound Love. Thank You.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Aug. 16 2006
By Richard A. Singer Jr. - Published on Amazon.com
I don't think we as human beings actually recognize the power of daily reading, meditation, and reflecting. Practicing these powerful principles allows us to remain mindful of the moment and reflect upon the deeper question in our lives. To devote ourself to a daily meditation and to journal on these quiet times is priceless and will certainly aid in the evolution of our soul. For me this practice has allowed an awakening to take place and opens my life up to all the opportunities that are available in this universe. Please give this practice a try! This book will help you in your journey of living and cultivating an active consciousness in your daily life.

5.0 out of 5 stars THE PROMISE OF A NEW DAY: a Book of Daily Meditations May 25 2008
By marika - Published on Amazon.com
I am delighted with the book especially since I found a very clean, good condition used leather-bound version. I have used this meditation booklet for at least 30 years. Finally I have given away and or lost all of my 6 books and was afraid I wouldn't find one, thinking it would now be out of print. I found this used one (hardly used), couldn't believe it was so easy to find as well as inexpensive. I would recommend this little book for everyone as a daily tool for living sucessfully. It is spiritual but not religious, refreshing in this day and age, when religion seems to be the basis for all self-improvement. This is not a requirement, only a little self examination and responsibility for self. Daily reflections with affirmations.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well done Dec 31 2007
By Kristen Villers - Published on Amazon.com
A nice book of inspiring thoughts. As a big fan of Max Lucado's Grace for the moment I really enjoy the daily reminders to help start my day. Wanting to stay away from a "religious" perpsective I purchased this book to give as a gift to several co-workers, and ended up purchasing one for myself!

1.0 out of 5 stars TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTING Nov. 19 2012
By Ann M. Crawford - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
Font so petite, I doubt there is much smaller. Material old, tired, and trite. Paper quality is that of a comic book. Will donate to Good Will, if they will be so kind as to take it off my hands.
