This is one outstanding translation. It is in a different style (slightly - in paragraph format (as if reading a novel) with small superscript numbers distinguishing each ayah (verse)), then what you might normally find.
The language is modern English, and it definitely tries to give an honest translation. Clear, to the point.
Check it out, for you won't be disappointed!

This translation flows more smoothly and utilizes modern English. It grasps the meaning of the Arabic as no other translations including A. Yusuf Ali do. Recommended for non-muslims and muslims that do not read Arabic.

This is the best and the simplest English Translation I have ever read!!! I have three different English translations at home and I have reviewed almost all English translations available in the marketplace. I would highly recommend this translation and the translation by Farooq-i-Azam-Malik (Al-Quran, The Guidance for Mankind).

This is the first time I have read the Quran. A friend recommended that I read it to better understand Muslim people and Islam. I would agree. This translation is quite readable and the introduction is especially helpful in understanding a number of things that one comes across in reading it.

Reading the Qur'an has helped me understand the violence seen throughout the Muslim world: it is right there in black and white. The dissemblers are the ones who claim Islam is a religion of peace. That would be nice, but it is not what their prophet taught - so what is going on? I had to see for myself, some had claimed Mohammed started off fairly well and then went off on a tangent once he became effectively the ruler of a growing and violent empire. I did not find that - what I found was a man who from the start makes it clear that unbelievers can be killed, that it requires two women to equal the witness of one man, that divorce is relatively simple and straightforward.

As a Christian I cannot associate these doctrines with the teachings of Jesus certainly and even Moses did not quite use the same tone. It would seem that Mohammed, though his teachings have more similarity to the Old Testament, was not particularly aware of Christian doctrine whatever and contradicted some very clear and basic teachings of Jesus. Since even owning a Bible is forbidden in many Islamic regimes it seems unlikely these discrepancies will be noticed any time soon.

First translation I've seen that has made the unique effort to organize the verses into paragraphs to help the reader stay aware of changes in themes. The English used is modern day English and easy to follow and read for all ages. My favourite translation by far and would recommend to anyone - Muslims and non Muslims alike

The book arrived in reasonable time at a reasonable price. I don't like how the publishers set up the book. The writing is too compact for the nature of the material. An example of a suitable presentation if the Quran by Abdullah Yusuf Ali. There the text flows down the centre of the page like the poetry the Quran is. The comments are clear in their place at the bottom of the page.
