Format:Paperback
I really love this book. This tells the story of Jessica McClure's rescue and the Paramedic that overdosed in pills and eventualy commited suicide snd the police officer who is a federal inmate for doing some bad things and is now paying for it.

I have followed the Jessica story since day 1. I would recomend this book to anyone else who followed the Jessica McClure rescue like I did. It will be one I will read for many years. My Favourite part of the book is the follow up part. I read that the paramedic that came up with Jessica Steve Forbes is now a fire captain for the Midland Fire Department. Thank you D Lance Lunsford for a marvelous book and some great pictures 30 in all. I would recomed this book for everyone to read and enjoy.

By John David - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book is at the top of my favorites list for the year 2005. Being a west Texas native, this story and the images that the author portrays hit home in many ways. Mr. Lunsford tells the story in such a way that makes evident his passion for writing and for the subject matter he writes about. While parts of the book are very tragic, the author handles the subject matter very well.
