The book contains a ton of absolutely delicious, easy-to-prepare, yet guilt-free recipes. Using a no-nonsense approach the author educates the readers about detoxification and effectively cleansing your body. Since I have incorporated this knowledge into my own life I feel and look much better, I have lost some weight; I am fit and full of renewed vigor. This book gives a lot of insight on how to start detoxifying your body. For much comprehensive approach to body cleansing, proper food combination and many other aspects of healthy life style I heartily recommend "can we live 150 year?" by Dr. M. Tombak. You can also find a lot of useful info (including some free ebooks) at Tombak's internet site.

I have a few raw food and detox books and I liked this one because it wasn't militant. If you are looking for a diet plan like this, this outlines an easier way to incorporate going raw into your daily life. I've gotten other raw books only to be disappointed because I needed expensive equipment or had to buy things I've never heard of (or almost). She explains that you could go full speed ahead, and what the results would be, or simply incorporate these ideals slowly and surely. Lots of information. I don't always give good reviews, I've even had Amazon.ca not print one on me (and I was warning parents what to expect on this 'kids' movie). About the exercise, I know people out there that do not exercise but stay busy 'puttering' and I think this is what she is saying, that you don't have to start a triathlon type of exercise program in order to gain healthy detoxing benefits.

This book is great for outlining reasons why eating a mainly raw diet is so good for you. I like that it's not a raw food "pusher" though - they encourage eating a few cooked meals a week. There are some really yummy recipes too!
