The Shadow Effect Movie,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Shadow Effect: Illuminating the Hidden Power of Your True Self (DVD)
This was a very informative movie about how we all have a tendency to fight our dark side of our personality and when we do it causes more harm than good. Everyone should watch this movie. It's so empowering!

Subjective shadows,

This review is from: The Shadow Effect: Illuminating the Hidden Power of Your True Self (DVD)
My wife and I found this to be interesting, but not really applicable to us at this time. However, we loaned it to a friend who reportedly has played it over and over again. So, we conclude that its relevance is quite subjective.

Not to be missed,
By P. Hasegawa - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Shadow Effect: Illuminating the Hidden Power of Your True Self (DVD)
A powerful and profound film that documents how our personal and collective shadows influence our lives. Intense and thought provoking, I felt this film explores our world through the len of the shadow and leaves us looking at the roots of our world's problems. It offers hope in showing us the power we have access to if we are willing to deal with our shadow self. If you are interested in moving foward in your spiritual life and shifting consciousness, I highly recommend seeing this film. It is a must for anyone wanting to undestand the struggle they feel inside themselves between their greatness and feeling completely unworthy and undeserving of love and good things.

The Shadow Effect- a must see movie,
By Marita Wahl Shedd "Integrative Coach Professi... - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Shadow Effect: Illuminating the Hidden Power of Your True Self (DVD)
This is the best movie of its genre I have seen. It speaks to a topic that is so appropriate to the times we are in and covers it straight forward, to the point. What makes this movie stand out even further from other "transformational" movies, is that it offers clear and concise real life examples and provides the viewer with tools and ways to apply the principles in their life and their world.

You Can't Keep A Good Beachball Down!,
By P. Schroeder - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Shadow Effect: Illuminating the Hidden Power of Your True Self (DVD)
There is one scene in The Shadow Effect that says it all - a swimmer tries to keep several beach balls under water, only to have them pop up, and hit her in the face. This explosive message illustrates the point of the movie. From start to finish, fascinating scenarios address some common hypocrisies that make life difficult and exhausting. The film exposes and explains, in riveting visuals and inspired dialogue, how we can revisit our experiences and learn from them rather than begrudge them. And on a grander scale, it takes on global implications, highlighting unforgettable personalities who speak of issues not often featured in Hollywood - compassion and forgiveness. Never has a "How To" piece been this engaging. You'll want to see The Shadow Effect with family and friends, again and again. I highly recommend it.
