Poor Science and Health Tips,

I got this book from a friend and was sure glad that I didn't buy it myself. It is not so bad that the book has no pictures of any recipes or that it states a lot of common sense things. What was most troubling about this book is some of the poor science that it uses.In fact the author clearly states that she is not knowledgeable on certain health subjects and than goes on to offer advice on them to the readers. This added to the fact that in various ways, processed food is suggested makes me cringe to think of this as anything close to a "healthy" book. If weight and healthy eating is a priority, consider buying instead "The Skinny Bitch".

Bought this book for the recipes. Some of them looked pretty good, BUT, the font is very faint and small, and quite hard to read. The information surrounding all the recipes is in darker, bolder print, but the recipes themselves are in a 'script' type, grayscale font. For that reason alone, I sent the book back. Thanks anyhoo - I'll get something I can actually see (I have 20/20 vision).:)

I loved this recipe book because she gives you things to replace a certain ingredient if you don't have it or don't like it! I've done about 10 so far... just got it... and all of them are great! My family even likes them!!
