Learn To STAY ORGANIZED Without Even Thinking About It

Give me 15 minutes a day for 30 days and I'll show you how to STAY organized

Do you get home from work to be greeted by clutter central? Are you hiding an ugly mess behind closed doors and drawers? Are you frustrated when you can't find what you need when you need it? Are you embarrassed by the disorganization when an unexpected visitor drops by?

You may have tried to get organized. You may even have succeeded with a mad purge one weekend. But if it all unravels after a few days or weeks, you need to try something different.

Your Excuses:

I don't know how to organize everything perfectly.

So don't  - I give you permission to organize imperfectly and to do anything rather than nothing.

I don't have the time to make a difference.

Large chunks of time are not required, just 15 minutes a day.

I don't know where to start.

Pick anywhere - it doesn't matter. Follow my 'hot spot' trail for a super fast approach to getting started.

I've got no money to get organized.

You don't need any. Stop window-shopping for storage bins and organizers and take action instead.

I'm overwhelmed. I'll never get it all done.

No, you won't, but getting organized is a journey, not a destination. With my 15 minutes a day system, you will make progress and that is what you should be aiming for.

The Solution:

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Strategy Feb. 12 2012
By Forever Reading - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
I have to admit being a little bit addicted to organizing books but I loved "The Staying Organized Survival Guide" for its 15 minute a day approach. My problem is that I tend to be perfectionist and want my whole house decluttered at once. Consequently I go mad doing stuff for a few days and then get fed up with how much time it's taking - and sometimes I'm left with more mess than I started with as it stays unfinished. The rooms where I have visitors look OK - it's the other ones - where I put the things from the visible rooms - that are the problem!

So this time I'm going to take up the challenge in the book and do just 15 minutes a day, focusing on my very messy office to start with, as that will give me the most immediate benefit. I know I can fit that time in right after breakfast and I've got nothing to lose but a lot of mess! Here we go for 30 days...

I bought this book in the hope it would get me motivated to organize my home and life and it did exactly that. Its an easy to follow, step by step guide with useful hints and tips into organizing your life. After reading the book I felt motivated and ready to get started and as it says; "just 15 minutes a day and you can slot organizing into your existing daily routines". I would definitely recommend this book and am now enjoying my organized and clutter free home.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved the "habit" idea March 18 2012

I am a paper addict - yep its true. As I look around my lounge/office I have piles of paper everywhere but thanks to this book I now have a plan of attack to deal with it all. Another hotspot for me is the spare room - it is so easy to close the door and forget about the piles of stuff in there, but it is really hard to find anything when I need to. This book gives me some hope that that this can all be sorted - not in a mass orgy of energy but in sensible short little time spots done everyday. I think a lot of us fit into the market the author is talking about. We know what we have to do, but the whole thought of trying to tackle all of the clutter at once is enough to put anyone off. By training ourselves into a new habit of decluttering for just 15 mins per day, we not only set up ourselves for success every day but we will be rewarded with a clutter free home in next to no time. The action plan included is a huge help as well.

I have a lot of decluttering/organizing books, and this is one of my favorites because it includes a very detailed, practical and doable plan to tackle your clutter, and even more importantly, remain clutter-free.

This is a great book for anyone who is overwhelmed by their clutter and doesn't know where to start, or those who feel they never have enough time to make a difference. This book really spells everything out and gives you a workable plan.

I couldn't have happened upon this guide at a better time. I've been having some major closet issues lately and by "issues", I mean if I were afraid of falling shoeboxes, I'd be in trouble! Well, I put some of these tips into play over the weekend and I couldn't be happier.

I can't wait to tackle some of the other "hot spots" in my disorganized home!
