The Old Straight Track: The Classic Book on Ley LinesAlfred Watkins was the first man to map, photograph and actually walk the ley lines of England. This book explains what they are and where they are. Alfred Watkins' work and this book are sourced in Phil Rickman's novel Remains of an Altar, which takes place in England. The plot revolves around ley lines. Fascinating reading!

Good book, lots of great detail for those researching ley lines. The author is not a writer, so reading is not as easy as one would wish. However, well worth the money. Best to have your Ordnance Survey map at hand.Old Straight Track

I personally found Watkins' writing style quite dry, but the premise was more than interesting and intriguing enough to me personally to make up for it. The Old Straight Trackhas the potential to be of eventual great importance to historians.
