There are some questionable moments, such as phrases like "shut up" and "I hate..." but it all boils down to how many episodes of Max & Ruby a person can take. After a while, you just want something else, and this show is perfect for a preschooler's attention span and mom's sanity.

Even though the shipping was almost as much as the product, this was a deal I just couldn't pass up.The entire first season of 'Marvel Super Hero Squad' for $23 bucks! For some reason The U.S. divided the first season of 'M.S.H.S' into 4 volumes at about 20 bucks a pop. Of course, that probably answers the question of why it's in four volumes instead of one season set. Since this was my first purchase from outside my own country so I wasn't sure how quickly it would get to me but I was pleasantly surprised at how VERY fast it arrived at my door. I will certainly consider purchasing something again from Amazon.ca

These days, making cartoons for kids and adults is a delicate task. This turned out to be complete succsss.The reuniion of all these heroes and villains is what got me into it. Silver Surfer (Fantstic four), the Falcon (Capt. Amerioa) and many others are teaming up to battle an array of bad guys tht are usually not linked to one another. The mid-forties guy that I am, loved it. The drawing of the charachers is custom-designed for the younger crowd. The artists gave the heroes a kiddy look that may offend the purist, but that is perfect for kids. The whole thing is filled with humorous moments (Hulk is a dress, as an example), that lowers the violence factor. The battle scenes are in the right tone for the ages group targeted. The heroes never shows themselves in their civilians outfits.... 100 % heroes. The aging Marvel Comics fan that wants to share his love for Super-heroes with his sibblings will enjoys these as much as their loved young will. Fair priced, good value.
