The Texas Chain Saw Massacre: The Beginning - on Blu-Ray!,

R. Lee Ermey. That's really all the reason one needs to see this film. He is, as usual, awesome in this film, where he does the Sheriff once again. In many ways, I prefer this film over the 2003 remake, and I suspect that aforementioned R. Lee is responsible for much of that, but this is a good film if you're into Horror. It's more graphic than the 2003 though, and there is less focus on the psychological aspect of the story, so it is different.This Blu-Ray edition (Canadian) is the only edition availible to my knowledge (October 2011). It's in 1080i, but do not let that stop you, as the film looks brilliant on this Blu-Ray, certainly on par with the 2003 remake BD. For those in Region B territory, this disc is Region A locked, so you'll need a region free or region A player to watch this. Highly recommended, but I have to give it 4/5 due to the missing extras.

Very good version of TCM explaining how Leathrerface became a serial killer we all know and fear. He grew up in a demented household raised by the Hewitt family. There's plenty of scares and chills you would expect in this series. R.Lee Ermy is great as the head of the insane hillbillie clan and Jordana Brewster looks even more beautiful in high-def. The Alliance Blu-Ray looks very good and the dts-hdma audio track is excellent!Highly Recommended!!

Movie is 1080i,

This Blu-ray release is imported from Canada and is a Region 1 release so it will play fine on all North American Blu-ray players. The downside is the movie is in 1080i and not 1080p. Dts hd master audio sound is great. But no special features. No U.S. release date yet.

Fist of all for you people that like extras you might want to pass this up it his no extras at all there arent even sceen selections on here but... put all that aside and you got a good horror movie.The effects looks so real its unbeliveable.This movie shows how leather face was born plush it shows how the sheriff became sheriff thit is the only reason it's called TTCM:The beginning.If your a horror fan you shuld pick this up.
