4.0 out of 5 stars Spooooon! Dec 25 2012

I loved this wickedly demented, but hilarious show when it came on the air and I love it still. From the terrifically bizarre storylines to the over the top characters to the stellar voice acting. This slightly (entirely) off centre show takes smart stupidity to a new level. What makes the show a real keeper though, is the endearing quality of it's pea brain star.

5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY! Aug 29 2006

After years of poor-quality bootlegs on Ebay, finally they are releasing the Tick animated Series on DVD! This is one of the best super-hero spoof shows ever (a million times better than its live-action counterpart)..

5.0 out of 5 stars Your wrong Nov 26 2011

Raynygrrl's comment is wrong. I ordered this DVD and it works perfectly inside my DVD player. If you look at the back of the case its says that it is a region 1 format which means that it will play in the USA and Canada. It also says that it is a NTSC which is also a USA and Canada format (I think they use PAL in the United Kingdom). Also if you look at the product details here on Amazon it says the following:

Region: (US and Canada This DVD will probably NOT be viewable in other countries. Read more about DVD formats.)

So either Raynygrrl lives in a different country (with a different format) or she does live in the USA or Canada but is not using a NTSC region 1 format DVD player.

Now for the review of the DVD.

I tried twice to watch the DVD in the evening and both times I fell asleep within 30 minutes. However, when I watched it during the day I had no problems and saw all the episodes. It brings back good memories and is very funny to watch. The picture and volume quality was perfect. For some odd reason it says on the back of the case "this collection does not contain episode #11". I do not know why they would exclude that specific episode.
