Book Description

May 1 2005 Owner's and Instruction Manual
At Last! A Beginner’s Guide to Toddler Technology

Just when you’ve mastered your infant’s maintenance routine, he begins to malfunction, refusing fuel, crying inexplicably, and resisting your attempts to clothe him. Your infant has upgraded to a toddler! But how can you master your toddler’s changing technology?

Through step-by-step instructions and helpful schematic diagrams, The Toddler Owner’s Manual explores hundreds of frequently asked questions: How should I react when my toddler throws a tantrum? How do I train my toddler for self–waste disposal? Whatever your concerns, you’ll find the answers here—courtesy of pediatric psychologist Dr. Brett R. Kuhn and co-author Joe Borgenicht. Together, they provide plenty of useful advice for anyone who wants to learn the basics of toddler care.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-have for Toddler Owners! Sep 12 2011
Format:Paperback
Continuing on the success of a Baby Owner's Manual - the Toddler Owner's Manual does not disappoint. Written in the same style & format, it's easy to read and understand, and provides an objective view and information for every Toddler Owner out there.

This books is aimed at Toddlers from the ages of 1-4, and I'm just thrilled that it is for that length of time. I just wish there was an accompanying Toddler Owner's maintenance log - just like the Baby Owner's Maintenance Log. I got in the habit of writing in the Baby one, I'd like to continue on in the same format.

Bottom line: get it - it's money well spent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for young techie dads! Jan 11 2007
By Mrs. Nancy Ayers - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
When my son-in-law Drew returned from deployment, my grandson was 13 months old. Drew was anxious to get to know his son and help my daughter take care of him, but he had not had much experience with little ones. Drew's catching on real fast, but this book is a help to him. The technical-style language reminds me of my cell phone or computer instruction books (in a humorous way) and is truly geared to a guy's way of thinking. The information is reliable, concise, and organized for quick reference as well as cover-to-cover reading. So if Drew needs to pack a diaper bag for a day trip, or if Ryan gets a boo-boo while mommy's shopping, he has a go-to answer book in the Toddler Ownder's Manual. The author should think about selling this to the Department of Defense to distribute to dads returning home, it should be required reading!

5.0 out of 5 stars excellent Jan 12 2007
By Isaac Kishk - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
This book is very informative in a non-reference kinda way. While it's laid out like a car owners manual, it can be used for direct reference to whatever you are looking for. However, it is also writing chronologically, so that you can start from the beginning, and read along as your baby grows. Its written in a half sarcastic/playful manner which keeps you entertained while learning or verifying information. Definitely something a parent should not go without, if not just for entertainment.
