This review is from: The Truth of Suffering and the Path of Liberation (Hardcover)
Here is a pithy and compelling presentation of the Four Noble Truths of Buddhism, the foundational teachings that are studied and followed by Buddhists of all traditions. The Four Noble Truths begin with the essential insight that all humans suffer, and they go on to describe the Buddhist path of liberation from suffering.Chogyam Trungpa--the renowned Tibetan Buddhist master who was a major figure in the transmission of Buddhism to the West--presents these key teachings in his characteristically forceful, provocative, and inspiring style. Drawn from never-before-published materials, The Truth of Suffering will appeal strongly to both beginning and advanced practitioners of Buddhism.

This would be the only book that I would take to a desert island. I can open it up anywhere and receive gems to ponder for the day.I have read a lot of books on Buddhism - love Pema Chodrun - and Trungpa Rinpoche is who she learned so much from - so you can read her, or go straight to the source. Alot is packed into this dynamite book! 6 of 6 people found the following review helpful
