Tudor season 3 uncut edition., Jan 5 2010
This review is from: The Tudors: The Complete Third Season (Uncut Edition) (DVD)
Tudor season 3 is excellent as usual.Acting/drama continues with same high quality as we have come to expect. However this DVD version appears to be missing the subtitles, which were helpful in the previous 2 seasons. Have no idea why they are missing.

The Tudors - 3rd season - the saga continues, Feb 7 2010
This review is from: The Tudors: The Complete Third Season (Uncut Edition) (DVD)
Whew, what an intense saga, ever since we watched Season 1 we have been hooked. The machinations of King Henry's court are unreal. It is so convenient to say someone is committing treason then have them eliminated, oh if things were only so easy.
From the moment it starts you are gripped again with the ways of the world in those times, weddings weren't for love they were to seal a deal or an alliance, love played in sometimes if you were lucky.
The church is just as bad as the king, maneuvering as needed to accomplish their agenda and amass more power.
The cinematography in this series is fabulous, the scenes, the castles, the clothing. the jewelry, the pomp and ceremony, the treachery and violence, gives one an insight into the times that brings books we read to life.
Only complaint was the cost of this season were high when we bought for Christmas, probably cheaper now. This season will not disappoint.
Kudos to the producers.

Truly Amazing, Dec 29 2009
This review is from: The Tudors: The Complete Third Season (Uncut Edition) (DVD)
This third installment of this amazing franchise is sure to hit every Henry VIII lover in the world. Showtime has done a phenominal job keeping viewers intrigued with the drama that surrounded this era in history. Although slightly over exagerated in certain historical references, this epic journey is well worth taking!
