Product Description

Teaching your kids about money is critical to their success as adults. The question many parents ask it, "How?" Consider this...You hire experts to teach your kids to swim, drive, play sports and learn musical instruments. Yet parents often leave the ONE subject kids MUST become skilled at to chance: MONEY! Only problem is that very rarely is personal finance taught in schools or at home. If you're concerned about your child's financial future, then The Ultimate Allowance is the only financial parenting tool you'll need to raise financially savvy adults. The Ultimate Allowance teaches your kids about money so they can eventually move out successfully, and it does so while saving you money in the process. This step-by-step system shows you how to take the money you're already spending ON your children and run it THROUGH them instead. This way you teach your kids the language of money while providing plenty of financial practice while they're young. When your children move out successfully, you experience one of the most powerful joys of parents that exists...knowing you raised adults who can take care of themselves.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kids Rock!, April 20 2012
By Dan Y - Published on Amazon.com

The first review was right on!! This book really shows the importance for us parents to empower our children with finances. My 7 and 9 year olds love their money jars and the possibilities that filling them brings;-) There are so many different ways to use this book! Thanks E!!! My 9 yr old now has his own Receipt book so he can give me invoices for those "payable" projects around the house! He's also showing his 7 yr old sister how to write them too! Scary huh! They seem to be learning how to respect money and how they trade time for it. Slowly but surely also learning how to make it work for them. Baby steps! Thanks again Ms. E!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW! I NEVER believed in giving an allowance UNTIL I read THIS BOOK! ;o), May 22 2010
By Amanda van der Gulik "Teaching Children About... - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: The Ultimate Allowance (Paperback)
You've GOT to get this if you have kids!

As a 'Teaching Children About Money' MomPreneur myself, I always told my members 'NO! Don't give your kids an allowance!"

That was until I read Elisabeth Donati's book "The Ultimate Allowance"!

WOW!

The reason I never believed in giving an allowance was because I wanted kids to be responsible for their own creativity in finding ways to make their own money.

So what changed?

I still want kids to be creative to find their own way to make money, but what I now realize is that 'Whether or not to give an allowance' to your kid is a personal choice and that there is NO 'right' or 'wrong' answer!

What is so great about Elisabeth's book is that she offers parents and ALTERNATIVE to allowances that is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!

In her book she teaches us how to 'RUN MONEY THROUGH' our kids so they learn how to MANAGE their money so it WORKS HARD FOR THEM!

ABSOLUTELY a 5 star rating on this one!

What are you waiting for, go grab your own copy, you'll be SO glad you did!

AWESOME JOB MISS E!

Cheers...Amanda van der Gulik...Excited Life Enthusiast!
