Great- Mostly,

This review is from: The Vampire Diaries: The Fury And Dark Reunion (Paperback)
The third book was amazing! But the fourth was a bit dissapointing until the end! It's ending is great so don't give up on it! The third book I think is the best of the whole series. The characters are all so real, you wont be able to put this book down! I think anyone who loves vampire love novels such as the Twilight series, will love this book. Even poeple who don't like vampires could enjoy this book. Read it! It's awesome!

Definitely YA reading,

This is the follow up to "The Awakening" and "The Struggle" which continues to most definitely fit into the Y.A. genre. Younger readers (20 and under) will likely enjoy this, however the more mature reader will find it a bit tedious due to the immaturity of the characters. While I'm certainly not looking for "real" stories in my reading escapism, the ending of this book was nothing short of ridiculous.

The Vampire Diaries by L.J. Smith finished too soon. I was hoping for a longer book, since they were all too short. I enjoyed this series a lot, but it was completed in only four days. With vampires, werewolves, action, and romance, girls, especially teenage girls, are bound to fall in love with The Vampire Diaries. It is definitely a series worth reading at least once. The Fury, the third volume of The Vampire Diaries is just great, full of action and suspense. The ending just leaves you hanging, wanting to pick up the next book even though you should've been asleep a long time ago! I didn't think the story could head to the direction it did, but it did, and L.J. Smith kept the story very interesting. Dark Reunion, the fourth and last novel, was very suspenseful, in which I did not know what would happen. I was hoping this novel had a more complete ending, as to what would happen in the lives of each of the characters, such as what they would do, not who they would fall in love with. **Contain spoilers** The Fury: Elena transforms into what she never would have imagined becoming: a vampire! Her transformation leaves her with forgotten memories, and forgotten thoughts. Does Elena still feel the same way about Damon? About Stefan? There is unimaginable evil lurking in Fell's Church... Dark Reunion: With Elena dead, Dark Fury is in Bonnie's point of view. Caroline is back in the picture, wanting Bonnie and Meredith to be her friends again, the way they used to be. Stefan Salvatore and Damon are somewhere far away. More evil that has come to Fell's Church, unimaginable evil that is killing even more people. ****
