This Cd is fantastic! Awesome awesome writing, lyrics, and music! Over 30 amazing tracks here. I can't believe how underrated Jackson Browne is, he is a superior songwriter. The pictures he paints with his lyrics are phenominal.

WARNING! WARNING! The 4 tracks; "The Load-Out", "Stay", "Running on Empty" and "You Love the Thunder" are LIVE tracks. This tid-bit of info is not mentioned on the track listing on back cover of CD case unless I need a magnifying glass or something. The live tracks are not mentioned in Amazon product details or track listing either. Otherwise it's OK.

A lot of people are complaining that a couple of songs are missing from this collection. There will always be one or two people who are not satisfied that their favourite song is not on a CD. All in all this is a very complete collection by Mr. Browne. Songs are evenly distributed from his early years throughout his career. As for the packaging...I don't know what you guys are talking about because I purchased my copy in Canada as a regular jewl cased CD. Maybe it is better having it available after the States :) Canada got our copies a week after...so you guys must have got all the digi packs. But I digress...all in all very full compliation for the average fan.But if you are a hardcore fan...go out and purchase every album. Especially the first 4 album.
