Great mix of hits. Aug. 14 2010

This cd is a reissue but it is a remastered import. I have not heard some of these songs for years. All songs sound crisp and clear and there are some parts of songs that are included the way the songs were ment to be heard.

The very exact same track listing as the earlier-released Showbiz Kids compilation. Showbiz Kids: The Steely Dan Story 1972-1980

Wonderful cd Oct. 23 2009

I bought this cd for about 7 songs. I however discovered about 5 more to add to my all time favorite songs.
Steely Dan runs the gamut from rock to bossa nova to jazz to gospel-influenced. Their sound is always contemporary.
I strongly recommend this album if you enjoy imaginative rhythms and lyrics.

"Best of" is the absolute best! Sept. 7 2013

Love, love, love Steely Dan. The mellow sound, the lyrics, the unique chording and riffs. They are in a class by themselves with a pleasant mix of rock, blues, soul and jazz. Every song on this CD is a gem. I give it 6 stars!
