Bought this for my grandmother for Christmas and she loves it. You get all of the episodes of the Vicar of Dibley plus all the specials.Definitely a great value for money!

British Humour at its Best,

My wife and I watched the show growing up and we both enjoyed the scattered broadcasts on Public Television, but there were episodes and specials that we missed and quite frankly didn't even know about.This complete collection is brilliant. You can watch it as it was meant to be seen. It covers 12 years of tapings, the death of an actor and obviously her character, other charactors marriages, and life events. The specials and Finale on the last 2 discs wrap up the whole program very well. The extras in the last few discs are fun and are actually worth watching unlike most DVD extras these days which are filler at best, garbage at worst. The acting and writing is briliant and the jokes at the end of each episode after the credits are worth hanging around for, the vicar shines with these jokes usually set against her "less-than-bright", but hilarious assistant! If you like British humour it is a must see!

We borrowed a smaller collection with just the three seasons from a friend and enjoyed it so much we wanted to own the whole set. We purchased this plus the two others that the amazon page said were often purchased together: the 10th anniversary special and the Holy Wholly.
