1.0 out of 5 stars Ditto: This book pushes author's products & services June 11 2009
By PJ - Published on Amazon.com
The reviewer who called this a marketing tool was dead on. The solutions to pretty much all of your home and office's flaws, according to the authors, can be remedied by purchasing one or more of the items that the authors sell on their website or by paying for a long distance consultation with them. I always get a bad impression when just buying an author's book is not enough - when he/she wants you to spend a lot more of your money on something you can only get through them.

There are few practical suggestions offered in these pages that you can implement yourself, without their help. A little bit is offered about painting certain colors, but even those are not going to be all that easy to incorporate into an aesthetically pleasing decorating scheme.

I don't recommend this book unless you want to do a lot of chanting and spend a lot more $ on the author's website. It is heavily oriented toward material and financial success and much less concerned with health, family, creativity and even spirituality.

5.0 out of 5 stars A dynamic easy-to-use reference of the many explorations of Indian Feng Shui March 8 2006
By Midwest Book Review - Published on Amazon.com
The Way Of Vastu: Creating Prosperity Through The Power Of The Vedas by Michael and Robin Mastro is a dynamic easy-to-use reference of the many explorations of Indian Feng Shui. Informing the reader of how the shape of a building or property affects success, the powerful influence of the Cardinal Directions and the Planets, Mantras and Yantras: sacred codes to awaken priority, correcting geopathic stress in home or office, how using altars and ceremonies might generate abundance, and how to coordinate interior design to create a balance and harmony. The Way Of Vastu is highly recommended to all readers for its inevitably helpful content.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Gem June 30 2008

Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
A very crisp, visually appealing, and clear introduction to Vastu. Enough reasoning and background is provided for every idea presented. This is an introductory book though, I wish there were more details and practical tips.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a must read book for anyone interested in learning Vastu Feb. 9 2014
By Steve Oras - Published on Amazon.com
I have read multiple books related to Vastu and this is by far the easiest to understand for the western-mind. It is written in a clear concise manner and can be read and more importantly, understood in just a few days. I personally chose to institute some of the suggested remedies including the Nine Planet Harmonizer. It corrects energies within a 75 ft radius. Let me tell you....It works! After a few short days, I noticed that I was calmer and had more energy. Also, I noticed my home felt more peaceful. The Nine Planet Harmonizer is also beautiful so there is no issues with having it insight. Other readers commented that they felt the authors were pushing their products. I look at it this way. The authors are experts in their field so it makes sense that they also have remedies to help the people. The book was very authentic and I felt that their products would be too. I am completely happy with this book! One could say it changed my life in a few short days!
4.0 out of 5 stars More depth than others I've read on the subject, yet I still yearn for more. July 2 2014
By Mary ALm - Published on Amazon.com
I appreciate that this book on Vastu has more explanation of the reasons behind the recommendations, than other books on the subject, yet there is still a lot left unexplained, and I need to understand the reasons in order to connect with the validity. I am grateful for the greater detail than other books, and for the info on Yantras and Mantras, and alters, which I also find to be more thorough and additional info than I have found in other books on Vastu.

The section on the personal experiences of one of the authors, leading to her deepening into gratitude, was valuable to me both in terms of being able to connect with the experiences of the author and the depth from which the info they are offering comes from. The fact that they make mantras and yantras available free on their website also adds to my sense that these are good people offering help to others, rather than superficial, make-a-quick-buck schemes that seem too prevalent.

Thank you.
