This production of Kenneth Grahame's beloved Wind in the Willows is a witty interpretation of the novel. It brings the characters to life and my family has watched it over and over again.
There is always something new to discover in each episode - it is marvellously scripted and creatively produced!
In today's over-produced and over-commercialized entertainment, this series (just like its predecessor) is simple, earthy, family entertainment at its best!

I absolutely LOVE The Wind In The Willows!!! I think it is quite possibly my all-time favorite show! Even as an adult, I've sometimes found it to be the only thing that will help me relax and go to sleep. And it was not available to me as a kid. I only discovered this wonderful show about ten years ago.
I wish Amazon would get make the rest of the series available for sale. There are still another three seasons (or Series, as the British call them) available. Series 3, 4, & 5.
And for those of you who are The Wind in the Willows fans and still have not been able to get the last three seasons on this side of the big puddle, at least we can still watch them! There is a YouTube user who thoughtfully created a channel called The Wind in the Willows @ [...]

SO, AMAZON, IF YOU WOULD EVER ACTUALLY GET THE LAST THREE SEASONS OF THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS IN, THERE ARE QUITE A NUMBER OF FOLKS WHO WOULD LOVE TO BUY THEM! (On DVD)

These DVDs are classics everyone should have in their library. Watching them is like going on a vacation. The episodes are charming, heartwarming, relaxing and so watchable you can watch them again and again without tiring of them. The animation is unmatched in its intense detail, and the narration of an apt, poetic prose. I cannot wait for the rest of the series to be released!
