This is one of the best books I have read in a long time. I absolutely love it. The exercises are great and they really help to delve deeper into yourself. I loved how easy the read was. I strongly recommend this book!

Finally, beyond the basics . . . Aug. 16 2011

This book is great! I'm about halfway through it, taking notes and doing all the exercises. Perfect for how stuck and lazy I had become about the Craft. It is stuff you already know deep down inside, but it is organized for you and presented to you in easy step-by-step format and thought-provoking questions. It'll get you back into the Craft and increase your power. I've already noticed a difference.

Very Interesting to see from this publisher Aug. 29 2011

This Book Sucks...At being the same old re-washed BS from "The Big L", i was shocked upon reading this book that there was finally something out in the mainstream occult community for people who have read, done, and where over "magick 101". Having been through the point where the metaphysical section at the bookstore stopped having anything new (new as in fresh takes on magic) and having to disappointedly look through page after page online for unknown occult pdfs just to learn how to take my practice to the next level, it really pleases me to see this getting put out there in the open for people to read.

I now shake this book at anyone that comes to me asking "so i mastered quarters, sigils, and the LBRP- what now?" because again it is a breath of fresh air to the community as a whole to see things on an intermediate to advance level being massed produced and no longer subject to obscurity as a pdf in a dark corner of the net because publishers simply used to not touch it.

it explains alot of things i have personally learned from the "Hardcore fringe sect" in less confusing jargon and in down to earth practices and experiments; and i know for those hardliners this isn't KVLT or fringe enough, but thats ego talking on their part, magick is for all of us to enjoy and play with, and this book will help the next generation move on from people who know what spells are to people who can actually affect change in and on their lives.

my hat's off to you Melanie, i cannot wait to see more real writing on magick in the future from you and this publisher,

keep on pewpewpewing!

Excellent book on jumping starting your practice Sept. 1 2011

I loved this book, and I know it will help many others. The author was able to understand the need to get yourself back on track. She covers the basics, but the most important item is to practice , at least once a week. When I did that, during a very profitable time in my life, it worked wonders.

One of the best for troubleshooting and building skills July 6 2012

This is one of the few books I've found that really gets beyond the basics. The focus is on keeping your craft fresh and exciting and addresses ethics and how emotional issues can affect your practice with more thought and clarity than I have seen anywhere else. I particularly like the collections of exercises and meditations. Advanced witchery is not about harder spells or more complicated ritual or memorizing ever increasing lists of correspondences - it is about looking deep within yourself and personalizing your magic, and this book takes you there. The section on magical disasters and troubleshooting is particularly excellent.
