Product Description

Having studied Ilie Cioara's inspired book, I am quite convinced that if its wonderfully wise contents are read diligently, and its prescribed practise is persistenly followed, then it will gradually and gracefully lead the fortunate reader to his or her own Self Realisation. (Alan Jacobs, Poet, Writer and President of the Ramana Maharshi Foundation UK)

About the Author

Ilie Cioara was an enlightened mystic who lived in Eastern Europe. His writing describes the experience of meditation and enlightenment, as well as the practice of Self-knowing using all-encompassing Attention. Like Ramana Maharshi, Krishnamurti, Eckhart Tolle, his is a simple message of discovering our inner divine nature through the silence of the mind.

Format: Paperback
The Wondrous Journey by the gifted Self Realised Mystic and Poet Ilie Ciora, is indeed a precious gift for all those embarking on the great spiritual adventure of endeavouring to wake up from the dread sleep of samsara. This distinguished author broadly follows the teachings of the great Sage, Sri Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi, and also has affinities with Eckhart Tolle and J.Krishnamurti. His brief Essays covering the main topics of Non Dualism such as Love, Happiness, and the Evolution of Consciousness are written in an attractive poetic style with clarity, and wisdom. They are obviously based on experience rather than scholastic book knowledge. I would strongly recommend this precious book to all those aspirants who are interested in and working for Self Realisation. Alan Jacobs President Ramana Maharshi Foundation UK

The Wondrous Journey is Just That! May 20 2012

The Wondrous Journey into the Depth of our Being is just that. Ilie Cioara's book expresses the Depth of our Being in a beautifully poetic way, that actually takes the awareness of the reader on a journey into the deepest innermost nature of the Self. Like a rock thrown into a deep pond, this book is a potent vehicle that plummets the awareness deep down, beneath the thoughts and emotions and agitation that usually make up human experience, into the Silent Depths of our inner most nature. There, we become acquainted with a Peace that is beyond understanding, a Peace that is the essence of all Life. This book does not require intellectual understanding of any philosophy. The poetry and prose that lies within the pages of this book have the potency to give the reader the direct experience of what many mystics refer to with words such as Being, Atman, Englightenment, Non-dual Experience, Non-Conceptual Reality, etc. Ilie Coara has been compared to the works of Rumi, Kabir, Hafiz, and Kahlil Gibran. As the world discovers his writings, many hearts will open up to the truth of who and what they are....This book is an absolute must-read!

As far as personal spiritual growth, this is the truest, humblest book I have ever read.
It is the simplest way one's pure mind, essence and soul can be expressed and it is easy to understand.
I am most confident that The Wondrous Journey into the Depth of our Being will remain a true guidance for a very long time. Such precious Gift to humanity.

The Wondrous Journey is a Masterpiece of Self Discovery.
Simply read these poems as if they are your very own & you will discover the Truth that is Life.
Even to write this review diminishes the Power I found in reading or rather doing this book.It does not require effort, just awareness.
If you have ever Questioned who you are or What Life is ,these poems will lead you to your answer.
A refreshing teacher who speaks to that which we are. May 5 2013

In the short 100 or so pages, this book took me over a month to finish. Ilie Cioara does not write to tickle the mind, but speaks directly to that which is aware. The real us, who is aware, and gives us the sense of being, is where the words of Ilie are directed. The book is written in a style of verse, which gives the direct experience of what the author is trying to point to. My only advice is to not try to grasp the material with the thinking mind, but, like poetry, just let the words gently sink in, and find that place where all great art lies.
