5.0 out of 5 stars Yiddish songbook par excellence Jan. 6 2009
By Morton S. Morrison - Published on Amazon.com
This is a great source of yiddish folk songs with complete words in English and transliteration. In addition to a melody line, each song has chords for use as accompaniment on guitar or piano. I want to cite just one example of complete treatment. The song DAISIES has verses in this book that I have found no where else.

Includes mostly all the basics Yiddish songs plus many songs from the bundist movement that I don't know. And what I like most about it is that it includes all the lyrics, not just the 1st verse. Most songs are given in Em and only provide the melody line (that's why it's a "fake book").
