3.0 out of 5 stars dissappointing end to The Unsuitable Men Trilogy.... Dec 4 2007

after being pleased with the first two books in Ms Moore Unsuitable Men Trilogy, The Wastrel and The Dark Duke I was looking forward to Elliot's story-Adrian's half brother from The Dark Duke, and the semi villain in that story.

Sadly, Elliot had much more depth in that book than his own. The Rogue's Returns' premise, the hero and heroine being thrown together when she finds him unconscious on the side of the road, was interesting, but pulled off as fluff.

Frankly, this book seems like many 3rd books in a trilogy, a quick, poorly written attempt to put something out to finish the trilogy, with too many side stories introduced to try to get more "bang for your buck". It was just plain BORING. At just under 300 pages, I had to slog my way through this book, and it took me a week at that:(

This story could have been much better, and I know Margaret Moore can certainly write better than this. My advice-unless you've read the first two and just "have" to finish the trilogy-then I'd say skip this book.
